-La Renommée-

The Fragnée bridge, known as the angels’ bridge, is a bridge in the city of Liège crossing the Meuse at the confluence with the river « l’Ourthe ».
The bridge was built from 1901 to 1904 for the 1905 Liège Universal Exposition inspired by the Alexander III Bridge in Paris.

Two great columns are situated at each side of the bridge with on their top a golden bronze « Renommée ».
A « Renommée » is a mythological being having the shape of a goddess raising a trumpet to her lips.
